Keeping Score with Automation Options

Keeping Score with Automation Options

New Power Automate connectors for Voice API, RPAs, ETL processing and Regulatory Compliance are on tap with today’s addition to the growing stack of automation options. We’re almost at the 450 mark too with 447 total connectors. I’m excited to share the latest round of them with you, so let’s jump right into that snowbank.

Africa’s Talking Voice

Africa’s Talking Voice joins its sister connectors Africa’s Talking SMS and Africa’s Talking Payments if your quest is to tap the African market. It’s action lets you schedule outbound calls to multiple recipients through Africa’s Talking’s Voice API.

You can use this connector to instruct their voice service to say or play a sequence of items in an outbound call.

Strong potential with this one. It wouldn’t surprise us to see consolidation of products like this over time. Three and a half stars!

Power Query Dataflows connector icon
Power Query Dataflows

Power Query Dataflows is an Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process that takes data from its source, performs any necessary transformations using Power Query, and places it in a specified destination. To use this cloud-based technology, you will need to access a product such as Power BI, Power Apps, or comp.

Its single action initiates a dataflow refresh operation and it triggers when that dataflow refresh completes. Be aware of your end needs when considering use of this connector as Power Query Dataflows connector is not supported for sovereign cloud clusters (China, Germany and US Government).

Simplistic. Three stars.

Security Center Regulatory Compliance icon
Security Center Regulatory Compliance

Joining its companion connectors, Security Center Alert and Security Center Recommendation, this Azure Security Center connector automates your company’s responses to security compliance assessments, and lets you build flows to interact with the results of an assessment. This will ensure that your company stays within regulations.

It consists of a single trigger that happens when a regulatory compliance assessment is created in Security Center and matches the evaluation criteria configured in your automation.

With no actions, we give it three stars.
