Unknown Entity Name trying to open a process in a solution

Recently while working on a Dynamics 365 project we ran into an “Unknown Entity Name” error.

While trying to open a process inside of a solution file using the “classic” interface, we saw an “Unknown Entity Name” error.

It references a Type of CustomerTest. But doesn’t match any data in our system anywhere! What could be going on?

The answer lies in the “Processes” section of the solution:

What’s happened is that a Power Automate Flow was added to this solution file which cannot be opened in the classic interface.

Microsoft, moving too quickly to fully polish the user experience leaves you with a cryptic error message that’s led you to this blog.

In order to open this process, you need to head to https://make.powerapps.com/ and navigate to the solution file within the correct environment from there.
