Dynamics 365 & Industry Accelerator for Manufacturing

The supplier relationship app is key to this accelerator, and provides a number of solutions at no additional fee beyond Dynamics 365 licensing:

This accelerator uses portals, model-driven apps, Dataverse tables and columns unique to the industry, Power BI dashboards and workflows to automate items.

Power Apps Portals

The industry accelerator for manufacturing includes quite a few features via portals. These include:

• Qualify a new supplier.
• Enable API data integration onboarding.
• Enable new suppliers to contact manufacturer.
• Provide visibility into supplier transactions.
• Provide visibility into API data exchanges.

The portal is customized for two audiences: Business development manager from a potential new supplier and supplier’s IT administration team.

The portal workflow follows this general path:

• Seeking to become a new supplier, you start a registration process (image below). Once registered, you can view all transactions.
• If you are an existing supplier and want to connect your development team, you can do so via data integration in the portal.

Model-driven Apps

This accelerator provides the following solutions via model-driven apps in PowerApps:

• Manage & approve access requests.
• Manage & approve supplier requests.
• Manage & track supplier health.

Dataverse Tables, Forms & Power BI Dashboards

As with other Industry Accelerators, this one includes some custom tables, forms, dashboards and other assets designed to help you implement best practices in the manufacturing industry quickly and simply.
