Feels Like Snow

Feels Like Snow

…with this Flurry of new Power Automate Connectors!

(Snow, of course, is on my mind because my Montana friends posted photos of their first snow fall of the season this week.) In a single day, nine new Power Automate connectors were added to the mix, six from independent publishers. So get out your dog sleds and prepare for a ride as I take you through them!

ITGlue

For ITGlue users who are managed service providers (MSPs) comes this Power Automate connector. If you are unfamiliar with the term, an MSP delivers network, application, and infrastructure and security support services and active administration on its clients’ premises. So ITGlue works with an MSPs needs and this connector’s actions can facilitate it by creating, retrieving, updating and deleting data in an IT Glue account. It looks like ITGlue has an easily accessible and fairly robust support documentation as well.

The Brønnøysund Registries

Heads up to those Norwegians needing to gather or process information from the Brønnøysundregistrene system more efficiently. This system is a Norwegian state administrative agency consisting of 18 different state electronic registers whose purpose is to create order and simplification for the business community and for the public. Connector actions include:

  • Get all or search registered entities or sub entities
  • Get recently updated entities in the registry
  • Get a single entity by organization number (existing or deleted)
  • Get all roles for a specific entity
  • Get recently updated sub entities in the registry
  • Get sub entity by organization number (existing or deleted)

Like all of the independently published connectors covered here so far, you cannot use it to trigger a flow – just to take actions.

Sigma Conso CR connector icon
Sigma Conso CR

This connector is useful for a small subset of the Sigma Conso CPM software in the finance industry. Its actions seem a little restrictive when viewed in the context of what the platform’s functions. You can use this connector to run a consolidation job, process, or scheduled job. For current customers this may come in handy, but it’s useless if you’re not already one.

Rating: 2 out of 5.

Two stars.

Sociabble

Sociabble connector aids your internal social media and content creation needs. It’s useful to enhance employee engagement within your company. With actions like “get badges” you could even use this connector to create gamification.

Specific use cases could be: when external news mentions your company, post messages in an intranet, or when a negative review is posted on social media platforms, engage a specific subset of users to respond.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Though it lacks triggers, four stars!

Staffbase

StaffBase is a Microsoft Teams alternative that includes user collaboration, chat functions, task scheduling and more.

While I was shoveling together all of the information about these connectors, three more were added, so there will be more details about those coming soon.

Power on team! Or should I say MUSH?!
