Polaris PSA Delivers

Professional Services Automation just got a huge boost with the delivery of this new Power Automate connector, and it’s the first one in a few weeks that made me say, “Whoa!”

And, that’s not just because the pool of available connectors has increased by a fifth to 570 connectors since I wrote about these new ones at the beginning of 2021.

The Polaris PSA app collects real-time data from all of your business systems, analyzes this data and delivers recommendations in its mission control interface which you can filter to help you make decisions.

This new Power Automate connector from Replicon “allows you to continuously sync projects, tasks, and resource assignments from Project Online to Polaris, and time data from Polaris to Project Online.”

Its actions let you:

  • Create a project or apply modifications
  • Create a task hierarchy or apply modifications to a task
  • Get:
    • project details
    • descendant task details
    • end point details of the tenant
    • time entered by task
    • timesheet summary
    • user list data
    • task list service data
  • Make a graph QL query
  • Move a task to a new parent

The Polaris PSA connector’s single trigger will subscribe to webhook events in Polaris. Webhooks (or user-defined HTTP callbacks) are commonly used to trigger builds with continuous integration systems like this professional services automation (PSA).

Rating: 5 out of 5.

The application’s plug and play integration with popular CRM, project and task management, accounting and other software bodes well. Five stars!

It’s always a good day when I have the opportunity to see how the geeks have used their prowess to improve business in ways that are usable for small businesses and scalable to enterprise level at an attractive price point.
