Power Automate Your Way to Another Reality

Power Automate Your Way to Another Reality

Virtual and Augmented Reality, Security and Business Data Capture are highlighted in the newest additions to the library of Power Automate connectors.

Once again new connectors have dropped and these are a few standouts. If you’ve been keeping tabs, there are now 534 connectors to choose from. Let’s look at three more.

Another Cloudmersive connector, the 2nd to address security in as many days! This is the 11th Power Automate connector from Cloudmersive, and like the rest, they’ve delivered a good one. We love how clear each of their connectors are—how simple it is to understand what they’re used for. The Cloudmersive Security connector actions include:

For an input string

  • Auto-detect threats including: Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), SQL Injection (SQLI), XML External Entities (XXE), Server-side Request Forgeries (SSRF), and JSON Insecure Deserialization (JID).

For an input URL

  • Check if it’s at risk of being an SSRF (Server-side request forgery) threat or attack.

For an input IP address

  • Check if it’s a Bot, robot, or otherwise a non-user entity.
  • Check if it’s a known threat IP address.
  • Check if it’s a Tor exit node server.

From text input

  • Detects SQL Injection (SQLI) attacks
  • Detects Insecure Deserialization JSON (JID) attacks
  • Detects and removes XSS (Cross-Site-Scripting) attacks (through normalization) Returns the normalized result, as well as information on whether the original input contained an XSS risk.
  • Detects XXE (XML External Entity) attacks from XML text input.

These actions provide an umbrella for users concerned about security.

RAPID Platform connector icon
Rapid Platform

RAPID Platform enables users to create customized business apps by allowing the capture of data, and the ability to run workflows and create Power BI Dashboards. The RAPID Platform documentation site is full of helpful videos, and all of the backend uses Fluent UI. Prerequisites for use require and Office 365 User Login and access to a RAPID site.

Actions include:

  • Create or update an item on a chosen table.
  • Add an attachment record (location of a file stored in SharePoint) to an item.
  • Get a list of items that expect to be linked to the current item due to the inherit link configuration.
  • Get a page of up to 250 items from a table.
  • Get a specific item and its full profile from a table.

Its single trigger creates a webhook for when something happens in your RAPID site.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.
