Single Independent Publisher Delivers 3 New Connectors
Microsoft MVP Daniel Laskewitz is behind the three latest independently published Power Automate connectors. These three each tackle a different aspect of app world.
What did this independent publisher deliver? Let’s see!
Windows-based Discord app is a voice, video and text communication social networking service for friends and communities that allows users to build member-only access or private groups including screen-sharing capability. Four actions from this connector include:
- Execute a webhook by using a webhook id and token
- Get the current user of the requestors account
- Get a list of partial guilds that the current user is a member of
- Get a list of connection objects
It doesn’t currently allow you to send messages, so there’s room for improvement on that point.
Three stars
The Spotify connector for Power Automate is the first one we noted to enter the streaming music category. It gives you access to the Library, Artists, Albums, and Tracks of the current user. Lacking triggers and not offering anything beyond info about the account holder used to set up the flow, it’s unclear how obtaining this information would make a difference in your life, (aside from giving you a broad picture of the music preferences and trends of your own access of the app.) We’d hope to see a broad expansion of its capabilities in future updates, otherwise, what’s the point? I just want to listen to music!

- The current user’s top artists
- A list of new album releases featured in Spotify
- A detailed profile information about the current user
- A list of the albums saved in the current Spotify user’s ‘Your Music’ library
One star.
The first independently published connector to enter the project management space, Toggl Plan lets users plan, collaborate, and complete projects through its app. While there are over a dozen connectors in this space, its integrations with Slack and Google Calendar give it legs too.
