Calling all Space Cadets to Power Automate!

Interested in asteroids, comets and other space objects? Power Automate has a connector for you too!

Independently published connector space icon
NEOWs

NEOWs, is the connector that hooks up your flows to the Jet Propulsion Lab at California Institute of Technology’s Center for Near Earth Object Studies. With this connector you can search space for asteroids based on their closest approach date to Earth, lookup a specific asteroid with its NASA JPL small body ID, and more.

Wondering whether you should pack your GO bag? The first two actions: get a list of Near Earth Objects for today, and get a list of Near Earth Objects within a maximum 7-day date range should tell you how much time you have to get it together…

Kidding! Fun aside, there’s serious data that can be put to use with this connector’s other actions which include:

  • Get a Near Earth Objects by ID.
  • Get Near Earth Objects listed in the NASA sentry (impact risk) data set by Object ID.
  • Get Near Earth Objects listed in the NASA sentry (impact risk) data set.
  • Get the total statistics of the Near Earth Object data set.
  • Get a paginated list of Near Earth Objects.

For enthusiasts and scientists alike, this connector is off to a good start. Although, a future trigger idea would be to have it send you an SMS when risk of an earthly impact is real. Sorry, couldn’t help myself!

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Three stars (Get it?!?!? Three stars!)

For your next earthly project, let us help you find the connector you need, or to create a custom app that scales with you.
