Announcing Power Form 7 version 3.0!

Power Form 7 v3.0.0 is now available! This release is all about control and visibility: you can finally see every Power Automate flow connected to your forms right inside WordPress, and we’ve eliminated two long-standing causes of duplicate flow runs.

If you’ve ever wondered “which flows are actually connected to this form?”, this update is for you.

See your connected flows inside the form editor

The headline feature of v3.0.0 is a new Power Automate tab in the Contact Form 7 form editor. Open any form and you’ll see every flow connected to it, along with the date each flow was connected and a direct link to its Power Automate environment.

Until now, the connection between a form and its flows only existed on the Power Automate side, so auditing them meant clicking through every flow in your Microsoft account. With v3.0.0 the full picture lives where you edit your forms.

Each flow in the list can also be disconnected with a single click. If an old flow should no longer run when a form is submitted, you can now cut the connection from WordPress without touching Power Automate at all.

One flow, one connection, no duplicate runs

Previously, every time you saved a flow in Power Automate, it registered a new connection to your form. Save the same flow a few times while building it and a single form submission could run that flow several times, sending duplicate emails, duplicate CRM records, and duplicate Teams messages.

As of v3.0.0, a flow is connected to a form exactly once, no matter how many times you save it. Each submission triggers each connected flow one time.

Duplicating a form no longer duplicates its triggers

We also fixed a subtle surprise with form duplication. When you duplicated a Contact Form 7 form, the copy inherited the original form’s flow connections, which meant submissions to the new form quietly triggered the old form’s flows.

In v3.0.0, a duplicated form starts with a clean slate. Its submissions trigger only the flows you deliberately connect to it, and the original form’s automation is untouched.

Also in this release

  • Full compatibility with WordPress 7.0.3
  • All improvements from v2.6.x are included, such as quieter logging and compatibility with the latest Contact Form 7

How to update

Existing customers can update directly from the WordPress plugins dashboard, or download the latest .zip from the My Account area and install it over the current version. Your license, settings, and existing flow connections carry over automatically.

If you previously saved a flow multiple times and suspect duplicate connections, updating to v3.0.0 and opening the new Power Automate tab is the quickest way to verify that each flow appears only once.
