Power Automate for WPForms 2.0.0: Reprocess Entry Flows, Richer Entry Logs, and Better Access Control

We are excited to announce Power Automate for WPForms version 2.0.0. This release gives you stronger operational control with entry-level flow reprocessing, detailed request logging in the WPForms entry log, and safer API access through a configurable flow access user.

Connect WPForms to 1,500+ Services!

Power Automate for WPForms connects your forms to Microsoft Power Automate so you can automate follow-up, data sync, notifications, and back-office workflows without custom integration code.

πŸ’¬ Teams & SharePoint

πŸ“§ Outlook & Excel

πŸ”— 1,500+ connectors

From lead routing and CRM updates to document workflows and internal alerts, WPForms submissions can now drive the rest of your business systems with less friction and better traceability.

What’s New in Version 2.0.0?

Version 2.0.0 focuses on control, visibility, and security. You can now retry flows from saved entries, inspect exactly what happened in the entry log, and ensure API requests run as the right WordPress user with the right permissions.

Re-trigger any flow, even on old entries!

πŸ”„ Reprocess Flows from the WPForms Entry Screen

You can now reprocess individual Power Automate flows directly from an entry’s details screen. If a downstream system had a temporary issue, you can replay that entry without asking users to submit the form again.

  • Fast recovery: Retry specific entries immediately.
  • No duplicate form submissions: Reuse the saved entry data.
  • Better operations: Resolve workflow interruptions in minutes.

🧾 Detailed Entry Logging for Every Processed Flow

Entry logs now include richer Power Automate request details for each processed flow, helping you quickly validate outcomes and diagnose failures without external guesswork.

The plugin also adds entry log records when a single entry is accessed through the Power Automate API, improving traceability for audit and support workflows.

πŸ” Configurable Flow Access User and Stronger API Security

You can now choose which WordPress user Power Automate API requests authenticate as. This gives you better control over what flows can access and aligns API behavior with your WPForms permission model.

Version 2.0.0 also prevents authentication with deleted flow users and applies entry-specific permissions for entry API access.

A Better Troubleshooting Workflow

  1. Open the WPForms entry details page for the affected submission.
  2. Reprocess the relevant connected flow.
  3. Review the entry log details for request and result visibility.
  4. Confirm successful downstream processing.

This release reduces manual recovery work and gives teams clearer visibility when automations need attention.

Start Automating with Confidence

Power Automate for WPForms 2.0.0 delivers stronger reliability for real production workflows, with practical tools for replay, auditing, and secure access control.
